About the Teacher
Hannah Pirc is a piano teacher who loves teaching her students to enjoy music! She also enjoys accompanying and playing hymns for church.
Hannah has over seven years of experience teaching children-adult. Her students have performed at a local assisted living, in their churches, and at themed recitals. They also participated in the fall and spring festival through the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) . Additionally, they also have performed at Monster Concert, put on by Boise Tuesday Musicale. Hannah has studied piano for the past seventeen years, and earning her Bachelor's in Music through Thomas Edison State University. She placed honorable mention in the Sonatina Festival. She also received gold cups through the National Federation of Music Clubs (NFMC) in Hymn Performance, Solo/Concerto, and Theory. She also completed Level 10 (the top level) of Certificate of Achievement through TVMTA, a rigorous program built on performance from each era of music, technical exercises, sight-reading, ear-training, and theory. She also received a gold cup through Certificate of Achievement. Additionally, Hannah has participated in Monster Concert, a performance opportunity where two students play at each piano along with several other pianos playing the same thing at the same time. Some of Hannah's favorite composers include Chopin, Bach, Beethoven, and others. Hannah also enjoys playing piano for church, and has done so for nursing home ministries and church services. She is also an incoming PreK-7th grade music teacher at The Ambrose School. |
